Cardinal Service Tours

Students and alumni at RHW breakfast 2015

Join us for a 4th Wednesday Tour in January and April to learn how you can connect with the Haas Center for Public Service, the hub of Cardinal Service. We're excited to share what students are up to, the ambitious goals of Cardinal Service and Stanford's Vision for the Next Decade and Beyond, and how alumni and friends help make our programs possible.

Visits begin at 4:30 pm and run about 90 minutes. During Winter and Spring Quarters there is the option to stay afterwards to observe a community engaged scholarship course that begins at 6:00 pm.

If you cannot make it to a tour, you‘re always welcome to visit our space on your own. Our doors are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and our outreach staff located in the first floor Bing Information and Resource Center can guide your exploration.

Each Cardinal Service Tour includes:

  • Welcome from a National Advisory Board member
  • Service journey from current Stanford students
  • Haas tour and intro to Cardinal Service
  • Overview of how alumni and friends engage with our work
  • Plenty of time for questions and answers

Tours run from 4:30-6:00 (with optional building tour or walk to an evening course at 5:45 p.m.).
