Cardinal Service Connectors are staff and faculty across the Stanford campus working to make service a distinctive feature of a Stanford education.
During the launch of Cardinal Service in the 2015-16 academic year, 225 staff and faculty members joined this campus-wide community. Our goal is to inspire ambassadors to engage students in Cardinal Service and to strengthen our collaborative community of staff and faculty. We are now over 250 strong and deeply appreciative of your support for Cardinal Service!
Would you like to be a Cardinal Service Connector? Contact Kelly Beck for more information. Kelly is available to provide a one-on-one orientation or come to a department meeting, team meeting, or other group setting .
To recognize and celebrate the public service contributions and experiences of Stanford students, the Haas Center for Public Service invites you to nominate a student to share their public service story with the larger Stanford community. Any student or alum who embodies the Principles of Ethical and Effective Service in pursuing a Public Service Pathway—Community-Engaged Learning and Research, Community Organizing and Activism, Direct Service, Philanthropy, Policy and Governance, or Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility—may be nominated by a peer, faculty, or staff member.
Visit Cardinal Service Stories to learn more about the public service experiences of Stanford students and alumni.
Register here to receive the Cardinal Service Connectors Update. This monthly resource provides news on the latest public service events and opportunities. We invite you to share events and opportunities directly to the 'cardinalservice' listserv.
