Working with a community organization can be a rich learning opportunity, but how can you ensure that you contribute in a meaningful way and avoid inflicting unintended harm?
In this workshop, students will use the Haas Center’s Principles of Ethical and Effective Service to reflect on their experiences and strategize on how to best implement the principles in their service work. This framework prepares students to collaboratively plan service initiatives, establish clear communication among partners, and connect their experiences with the larger political, economic, and social contexts.
RSVP here. Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP.
