Student support for remote service needs

May 13 2020

Remote service opportunities during COVID public health emergency

The Haas Center is connecting students with community partners to help in the areas of:

  • Defense of Democracy & Voting Rights
Help advance American democracy while learning more about voting rights, the electoral process, or policy research.
  • Basic Needs
Support local communities' basic needs including food security, education, and senior care.
  • Global Climate Change
Combat climate change and work toward a more sustainable future for all, especially the most vulnerable.
  • Health Care & Public Health
Address health inequities by bolstering health care providers, health nonprofits, or the public health system.

Partners:

If your nonprofit or government office could benefit from some student support, submit your remote service opportunities for spring and/or summer quarters.

We are prioritizing opportunities to address urgent needs in the areas above, but all service opportunities are welcome. The submissions may include part-time opportunities, project-based work, or summer internships for students.

Students:

If you would like to help support these urgent needs, check out the list of opportunities.
