Amy Harris joined the Haas Center in August 2015. Along with her colleague, Priscila Garcia, Amy focuses on the promotion, advertising, and advising of public service opportunities. She supports students looking to engage in service while at Stanford and those hoping to launch public service careers.
Amy graduated from Stanford in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a minor in Education. She then served with Jesuit Volunteer Corps in New York City. As a Jesuit Volunteer, Amy worked for Advocates for Children of New York (AFC), a non-profit devoted to protecting the educational rights of students experiencing school-based discrimination and/or academic failure. As part of AFC’s Project Achieve, she advocated for students in preventive services and foster care.
