As the Student Cohort and Community Partnership Program Coordinator, Eden supports student cohort programs, such as the Emerson Fellowship, and community partnership programming at the Haas Center for Public Service to deepen student knowledge and skills in diversity, equity, inclusion, and public service.
Originally from Los Angeles, Eden earned her BA from Occidental College where she majored in Critical Theory and Social Justice and minored in Interdisciplinary Writing. While at Occidental, Eden became passionate about equitable, inclusive, multicultural service-based education through her participation in community-based learning courses, as well as work on diversity related-programming, research, and advocacy. Since graduating from Occidental College, Eden pursued a year of service through AmeriCorps, Public Allies: Los Angeles where she served as the Community Engagement Coordinator with the photography-mentorship nonprofit, Las Fotos Project, and most recently served as the Human Resource and Data Coordination Fellow at the Ethiopia-based nonprofit, Selamta Family Project through the Ethiopian Diaspora Fellowship.
In her free time, Eden enjoys listening to music and podcasts, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
