
Emily Clements
Before joining the Haas Center, Emily served as a development coordinator in Class Giving, working with the 30th, 25th, and 10th reunions. Prior to Stanford, Emily spent 14 years working in the art world at leading commercial galleries including Pace Gallery (New York) and Fraenkel Gallery (San Francisco). In her time as a sales director and manager, Emily worked closely with art collectors locally and internationally as well as leading artists, estates, and museums. Emily earned a BA from Providence College and a Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. She served as a fundraising volunteer for the Headland’s Center for the Arts and SFCamerawork and as the SF city council chair of Artadia, the Fund for Art and Dialogue. She enjoys supporting emerging artists and local art communities in the Bay Area.
Emily is deeply passionate about inclusive and equitable access to education. As a lifelong volunteer, she is excited to work at the Haas Center and support public service initiatives on campus. Emily lives in Alameda with her husband and daughter.
