Prior to Stanford, Emily spent 14 years working in the art world at leading commercial galleries including Pace Gallery (New York) and Fraenkel Gallery (San Francisco). In her time as a sales director and manager, Emily worked closely with art collectors locally and internationally as well as leading artists, estates, and museums. Emily earned a BA from Providence College and a Master’s in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. She served as a fundraising volunteer for the Headland’s Center for the Arts and SFCamerawork and as the SF city council chair of Artadia, the Fund for Art and Dialogue.
