Hava Schwartz is a recent graduate of Stanford University, with a degree in physics. She is thrilled to rejoin the Haas Center as the Cardinal Commitment Coordinator, working closely with student groups to navigate the intricacies of ethical and effective sustained service. With a passion for bringing about educational equity, Hava was involved with Science in Service throughout her Stanford career, and she has an extensive background in teaching and tutoring.
Born and raised in Las Vegas with colorful, hippie parents, Hava is known for her bright tie-dyes and even brighter spirit. She is the middle child, preceded by her sister who studies graduate-level chemistry at University of Wisconsin, Madison, and followed by her teenage brother who just began pursuit of an aerospace engineering degree at University of Washington, Seattle. One can only imagine the nerdy dinner-time conversations.
In her down time, Hava loves curling up to a good movie and shaking her tail feathers to live music.
