Leela Stake

Chair

Leela Stake (Young), ’03, MA ’03, is a senior partner at FleishmanHillard and global managing director for True MOSAIC. She has worked with more than 100 of the world’s most influential businesses and foundations on the most pressing issues facing people and the planet. Under her leadership, FH4Inclusion, the agency’s global award-winning pro-bono initiative, has engaged more than 1,000 employees to provide 40,000 hours of service to 160+ nonprofit organizations. Leela was previously chair of the Global Responsible Business practice at APCO Worldwide and worked at The Asia Foundation in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and the Philippines. Leela graduated from Stanford with an MA and BA with honors and distinction and helped develop Stanford’s first social entrepreneurship curriculum. She was awarded the Ford Fellowship in Philanthropy and the Lyons Award for Service from Stanford. Leela is on the Advisory Council of REDF.
