Norma Cho

Norma is responsible for the day-to-day management, planning, and coordination of the fiscal and administrative operations of the Haas Center. This encompasses budgetary and financial management, human resources, space/facilities management, and information technology. She has extensive experience in higher education administration and management having served in various capacities at the University of California, San Francisco and Berkeley.

Norma completed her undergraduate studies at the College of the Holy Spirit in Manila, Philippines, and has an MBA from San Francisco State University. She has been a consistent attendee at ACUTA (the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education) as well as EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology

Raised in a large, mixed-race family, Norma can speak four languages. Her interests include golf, reading, dancing, hiking, and camping. She strongly believes in giving back to the community, has been a member of an Asian community outreach program for many years as well as a regular volunteer at the San Francisco Food Bank and Glide Memorial.  Her role at Haas reflects an amalgamation of her personal mission and professional life.
