Peggy Propp

As Senior Program Director for Campus Partnerships, Peggy Propp partners with alumni and individuals throughout Stanford campus to inspire, inform, and support students in their service journeys. Most recently, she co-created the President’s Award for the Advancement of the Common Good and leads the campus-wide initiative What Do You StandFor? Exploring values through service each fall.

Peggy graduated from Stanford with a degree in mathematical sciences. She worked in the tech and medical device industries prior to co-founding and subsequently becoming the first executive director of Hands on Bay Area (formerly Community Impact). After seven years leading Hands on Bay Area, she began working at MAP, where she created the Schneider Fellowship program, offering Stanford students sustainable energy fellowships with top-in-their field non-governmental organizations.

Peggy lives with her husband, Jonathan, and has three sons, Alan (’16, MS ’17), Daniel, and Jeffrey (’21, MS ’22). Outside of work, you are likely to find Peggy playing water polo or taking photos.
