Public Service Careers Advising

Schedule a one-on-one, half-hour advising appointment with a Cardinal Careers advisor and get started on your career search or fellowship process. To do so, go to Handshake, choose "New Appointment" under "Career Center" and then select the "Public Service and Social Impact" category.

Juaquin Sims

Juaquín Sims' focus is on advising students who are interested in careers in education (K-12, youth development, higher education), non-profits, municipal and federal government, public interest law, and philanthropy. He also oversees the Haas Center's Cardinal Careers Fellowships for graduating seniors and co-terms.

Ben Weissman advises students on public service career pathways, career planning, job and fellowship opportunities. Ben has experience serving student in university offices of career advancement, fellowships advising, and writing tutoring, in addition to his experiences working in nonprofit arts and social service organizations. He oversees the Haas Center's Cardinal Careers Fellowships for graduating seniors and co-terms.
