Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry Fellowship

This is a not a Stanford fellowship. It is included in a database of paid fellowship, internship and service program opportunities offered by external organizations as a resource for all college and university students. A FISP listing does not mean that Haas Center staff have direct experience with or professionally endorse the program.

Live Compassionately.  Offer Healing.  Share in Liberation.  Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry provides young adults with the opportunity to live the charism of the Congregation of the Sisters of Bon Secours. We offer volunteers the unique opportunity to serve within Bon Secours Hospitals and affiliated organizations, as well as other local organizations,  while working within the fields of healthcare, social service, and education.   Volunteers commit to the five pillars of our program: developing an intentional community, living simply, growing spiritually, and practicing God's justice, our focus being spiritual growth and formation.

Volunteers are single men and women between the ages of 21 and 30, college graduates or possessing equivalent life experience, and in good physical and psychological health. They are also motivated by an open and giving spirit, attracted to the mission and charism of the Congregation of Bon Secours, interested in practicing justice by building relationships based in service, open to reflecting upon the connection between service and spirituality, willing to live in a community with other volunteers and to live simply during the year of service.
