The Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps (RRASC)

The Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corps (RRASC) is a 10-week paid summer internship program sponsored by the Civil Liberties and Public Policy Program at Hampshire College. Undergraduate students intern at reproductive rights and social justice organizations around the country. Organizations work on a wide array of issues from reproductive health, economic justice, immigrant rights, rights of indigenous peoples, LGBTQ rights, human rights, intimate partner abuse, and mass incarceration.

Participating internship organizations include: Access Reproductive Care-Southeast, ACCESS Women's Health Justice, Advocates for Youth, Aid to Inmate Mothers, Alaska Community Action on Toxics, All-Options, Amnesty International, BASTA - Building and Strengthening Tenant Action, California Families for Access to Midwives (CFAM), California Latinas for Reproductive Justice, Center for Genetics and Society, Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice at Berkeley Law, Class Action, Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR), Family Equality Council, Gender Spectrum, Ibis Reproductive Health, Justice Now, Mabel Wadsworth Women's Health Center, Maine Family Planning, Miami Workers Center, National Advocates For Pregnant Women, National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, National Network of Abortion Funds, Native American Women's Health Education Resource Center, Ohio Justice & Policy Center, Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Political Research Associates,  Power U Center For Social Change, Project South: Institute for the Elimination of Poverty & Genocide, Sadie Nash Leadership Project, Safe Passage, SisterLove, Inc, Tewa Women United, The Doula Project, The Reproductive Health Access Project, The Trans Buddy Program through the Vanderbilt Program for LGBTI Health, Third Wave Fund, Women Have Options/Ohio, and Women With A Vision.

Internship stipend is: $3500

Eligibility requirements:

    -Must currently be an undergraduate student at a US college/university
    -Must not be graduating in Spring/Summer 2018
    -Must be able to attend the CLPP Conference in Amherst, MA, April 13-15, 2018 (CLPP will cover all travel costs for students who live outside of Western Massachusetts)
