Alternative Spring Break (ASB)

The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program exposes students to complex social and cultural issues through community visits, experiential learning, direct service, group discussion, readings, and reflection activities. The program's vision is to transform students into advocates of social change on issues affecting our communities.

Trip leaders and program directors are eligible for the Cardinal Commitment program.

Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: Trip leaders begin work in spring quarter; work on their course over the summer; take class in the fall; facilitate their course in the winter; and lead the trip over spring break.
