There are many fellowship & internship opportunities offered by sponsoring organizations throughout the country. Stanford students can apply for these and be part of the Cardinal Quarter program. These programs offer varying levels of financial support.  Students may be eligible to receive additional funding through Cardinal Quarter to help supplement their budget needs.

Examples of programs that meet the Cardinal Quarter criteria include:

Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) DC Public Service Internships

Collegiate Leaders in Environmental Health (CLEH) through the CDC

DOE Scholars Program (US Department of Energy)

Eben Tisdale Fellowship

First Generation Civil Rights Fellowship

Google Public Policy Fellowship

Institute for Women's Policy Research Internship

International Leadership Foundation Civic Fellowship

Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship

Occupational Health Internship Program

Selection Process: 

Students apply to and are accepted by the sponsoring organization. Upon acceptance, students can then apply for Cardinal Quarter by completing this brief form.  Potential funding will be considered during the Cardinal Quarter acceptance process.
