Theo Gress
Theo Gress is a graduate of Stanford University. He obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s in biology, focusing on ecology and conservation issues. In addition to his passion for science, Theo enjoys helping others learn. He volunteered at the Sacramento Zoo throughout high school, educating the public about animals and conservation. In college, he helped lead a sustainability program in his sophomore dorm to encourage others to be more mindful of the environmental impacts of their actions. In addition, as a senior and graduate student, he tutored undergraduate students in the biology core curriculum. Theo hopes to continue to explore ways that his knowledge of science and passion for education can be used to address climate and other environmental challenges throughout his career. He is thrilled to begin by working with Climate Resilient Communities and the Haas Center. In his free time he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing board games.
