East Palo Also Stanford Academy (EPASA)

Please note that EPASA is paused during the Fall 2023 for strategic planning.

East Palo Alto Stanford Academy (EPASA) is a service-learning program in which Stanford students engage as mentors and tutors to East Palo Alto middle school students.

Established in 1986, EPASA offers exciting learning opportunities for sixth through eighth-grade students in the Ravenswood City School District. EPASA participants are highly motivated and represent differing academic abilities and socio-cultural backgrounds.

During the Fall of 2023 and into 2024 we will be engaging in strategic planning to create a program model that is responsive to our community's pressing needs and provides learning and growth opportunities for all students involved. We want to ensure that the partnerships we form are mutually beneficial and align with our Principles of Ethical and Effective Service, while also taking into account best practices for creating community partnerships.

Please use the forms below to provide us with general information about your interest in partnering with our middle school program or to share your general thoughts or suggestions.
